Violência doméstica: Cristiane recomenda entrega de folder informativo da Lei Maria da Penha

A deputada estadual Cristiane Dantas (SDD) apresentou requerimento na Assembleia Legislativa solicitando ao Governo do Estado, que seja distribuído folder informativo com orientações sobre a Lei Maria da Penha e serviços dos órgãos de segurança para denúncias de violência doméstica contra a mulher, durante todo o mês de agosto de 2020. A ideia da deputada é que esse material seja entregue junto aos kits de merenda escolar enviados aos alunos e às escolas da Rede Estadual de ensino, quando forem retomadas as aulas presenciais.

O documento é direcionado também à secretária de Estado das Mulheres, da Juventude, da Igualdade Racial e dos Direitos Humanos, Eveline Guerra e ao secretário de Estado da Educação, da Cultura, do Esporte e do Lazer, Getúlio Marques Ferreira.

"É de conhecimento das autoridades públicas o crescimento dos registros desse tipo de violência durante a pandemia do novo coronavírus, onde as mulheres passaram a obrigatoriamente ficar com os agressores dentro de casa", justificou.

Cristiane Dantas considerou necessária e urgente a conscientização das famílias dos alunos da rede estadual de ensino, conforme também preconiza o programa Maria da Penha Vai às Escolas. "Investir na conscientização dos alunos e de suas famílias é atuar de forma preventiva em relação à violência doméstica contra a mulher", disse.

A lei nº 10.066/2016 estabeleceu no calendário oficial do estado o mês de agosto como "Mês de Proteção à Mulher - Agosto Lilás", a fim de reforçar campanhas de conscientização sobre a Lei Maria da Penha. Neste ano de 2020, a Lei Maria da Penha completa 14 anos criminalizando qualquer tipo de violência contra a mulher por discriminação de gênero.
