O deputado estadual Tomba Farias (PSDB) jogou por terra o argumento da governadora Fátima Bezerra de que se a Assembleia Legislativa não aprovar até o próximo dia 30 de julho a reforma da previdência estadual, o Rio Grande ficará automaticamente impedido de receber recursos e benefícios do governo federal. O parlamentar revelou que o governo Jair Bolsonaro deverá ampliar para 31 de dezembro o prazo para que os estados aprovem a reforma previdenciária. Ele foi taxativo ao afirmar que a Assembleia Legislativa não irá aprovar a 'toque de caixa' e de forma não presencial a reforma da Previdência nos moldes que a governadora deseja.

"Falta diálogo e humildade da governadora. A Assembleia Legislativa já poderia ter aprovado a reforma ( da Previdência) desde fevereiro ou março , mas o governo protelou o envio da matéria. Agora, durante uma pandemia, quer que os deputados aprovem a matéria sem discussão com a sociedade, sem poder fazer alteração no projeto do governo. A reforma proposta de Fátima Bezerra penaliza quem ganha pouco e beneficia quem ganha muito", disse o parlamentar, durante entrevista à rádio 98 FM, em Natal.

Segundo o deputado municipalista, o governo deixa tudo para última hora para "descer de goela abaixo e a gente não tenha tempo de discutir".

Tomba revelou que o governo tem atuado no sentido de responsabilizar os deputados pela não votação da reforma da previdência, sob o argumento de que o estado ficará sem receber recursos federais, caso a matéria não seja aprovada até o dia 30. "O prazo não será esse. Fátima vai ser desmitida, pois o prazo será prorrogado até o dia 31 de dezembro. Só tem 13 estados com a reforma aprovada, nem Minas Gerais aprovou ainda. Mais de 50 % dos estados não fizeram suas reformas, você acha que esses estados vão ser penalizados pelo governo federal?", questionou.

Segundo afirma, o governo perdeu uma grande oportunidade de ter um diálogo.

Para Tomba, hoje ninguém sabe mais quem fala pelo governo. "Era George (Soares), era Francisco do PT, entrou Fernando Mineiro, agora já é Cadu (Carlos Eduardo Xavier). A própria governadora deveria ter tido a humildade de ter vindo para a 'Casa do Povo', que é a Assembleia, para explicar os motivos da urgência. O seu secretário de Saúde não atende telefone de ninguém", finalizou o parlamentar.
